AM- 3 miles E.

PM- 4x1600m (5:07 pace). I ran these really well! I mean Mike was running 4:56's crazy! Anyways I hit them on with 5:07, :07, :09, and :06. Even though I was light headed and a little malnourished, I ran really strong and pushed it on the 50m sections coach told us to! I must've been running fast since coach couldn't keep up! I need to work on my third laps (usually 1:19 about 2-3 seconds slow), but my first lap was always really strong! I really know I am going to lay the wood at this race! I am going to take care of myself this week!

AM- 3 miles E.

PM- 6.5miles 3x (600(1:47),400(1:12),300(50.30),200(30),100(15)) w/ harts warm/cool. I ran the first 600 on pace, 1st 400- 1:09 even with slowing down, 1st 300- 50, 1st 200- 30, 1st 100- 14. I felt really strong. 2nd 600- right on again 1:47, 2nd 400- 1:09, 2nd 300- 49, 2nd 200- 30, 2nd 100- 14. I felt really good this set, but I felt like I used everything and I wasn't feeling too good, but...we had another one! I was feeling sick, need to hydrate and eat better. 3rd 600- 1:53 so slow. 3rd 400- 1:12, 3rd 300- 50, 3rd 200- 30, 3rd 100- 14. So really a solid workout!

AM- 3 miles E.

PM-  Warmed up for the race.  During the race I was in it for the first two laps, but not really.  I need to just trust myself.  I noticed there is one or two moments where I either gotta decide to go or sit and I have been choosing to sit.  I have been trying to much to do a controlled race, like sort of a tempo, and you can't do that in a race.  I am just gonna work on pushing hard and not trying to be too over controlling in my races!

3200m- I was ranked 4th going into it and I was determined to qualify.  I started out with a good, solid first mile just a bit behind mike like 20 m (4:53).  The second mile I shouldn't have stuck with the group I did because they were slowing down and some were just getting ready to kick.  I should've pushed more the last mile.  Because I was .82 off of state qualifying!  And really I felt like I was not going all out..just sat at the 'right pace' like a tempo and just tried to keep it.  I need to stop playing it safe!  Safe people don't reach their goals!  Argh..oh well.  I'll shake it off and try not to get frustrated because it's still a PR.
